« Surrounding area & activities »
Our studios, located on
, are just a short walk from De Maisonneuve Boulevard, between De la Visitation and Panet streets. Lartigue Avenue is one of Montreal’s rare pedestrian walkways and offers unequalled quality of life due to its charm and tranquility. An oasis of peace in the bustling urban life, Tourism Montreal rates it highly as a choice destination for pedestrian guided tours.
Notwithstanding nearby commodities such as the subway, «in» cafés, bistros and restaurants, and fine grocery stores less
than 500 meters away, Lartigue House is well surrounded by :
West : the «Quartier latin» with its St-Denis and St-Laurent streets.
East : the Village and Jacques-Cartier bridge that stretches across St-Lawrence river and the Gilles-Villeneuve F1 racetrack.
South : Ste-Catherine Street, Old-Montreal, Chinatown, and the Old-Port.
North : bucolic Lafontaine Park, in the heart of the Plateau that sprawls at the foot of Mount Royal
